Myths

Even in a world with wizards, fairies, and dragons, some stories just aren’t true. What follows are interesting factoids gained from a long career of adventuring, dispelling popular misconceptions about the worlds and their inhabitants.

  • Vampires are weakened by sunlight, but generally can’t be killed by it. They are unaffected by garlic, they can cross running water as easily as anyone else, and they have no reservations about entering a home uninvited.
  • Hydras come in two varieties: the kind that grows its heads back twice over, and the kind that don’t grow back their heads at all.
